Irving Gallery is a contemporary art gallery, which showcases emerging and established artists.

We champion our community of artists by offering them a platform to present their work in our viewing space and online, in solo and group exhibitions, and as part of the Irving Gallery collection.

Irving Gallery curates a dynamic programme of projects, and we show works within our art space, located within the domestic setting of a Victorian mid-terraced house in Oxford, the home of owner and curator Vanessa Lacey who founded the gallery in 2019. We welcome visitors during exhibitions.

Our current exhibition includes four wonderful paintings by Simon Carter, whose work I had admired for a long time before showing this group of painting as part of 'Tracing Space'. Simon was born in Essex in 1961. He has a studio on the Essex coast
