Tea session, 10am on 6th June
tinyteahouse will be popping up at Irving Gallery on Friday 6th June from 10.00-14.00 to serve visitors fine, seasonal teas in the traditional gong fu cha style. Guests are invited to take a seat at the tea table to share tea served in hand crafted teawares from Yixing and Jingdezhen. Seasonal tea gatherings of this kind are held throughout Asia in tea houses, galleries and ateliers, allowing guests to appreciate fine tea and generous conversation surrounded by beautiful works of art.
Visitors will have the opportunity to see Irving Gallery’s current exhibition, ‘Tracing Space’, featuring 12 contemporary artists from across the UK.
3 spaces are available at each tea session lasting 45 minutes.
